Kyle Pool Schedule Summer of 2014

The City of Kyle Pool opens for the Summer of 2014 on June 9th.

The regular schedule, special events and hours for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day are listed below.

Since concessions will not be sold, outside food and drink is permitted.  Glass containers and  alcohol are prohibited.

The pool is located at 1300 W. Center Street (Gregg-Clarke Park).


Residents of Kyle (living within city limits**)

Ages 0 – 3 : No Charge

Ages 4 – 12 : $1

Ages 13 – 17 : $2

Ages 18 – 54 : $3

Ages 55+ : $1


Non-Residents (living outside city limits**)

Ages 0 – 3 : No Charge

Ages 4+ : $4

Special Evenings at Kyle Pool


June 6th – Teen Night – 7:00pm-11:00pm.  Teens are invited to attend Teen Night at the Kyle Pool presented by Kyle PARD and the Kyle Area Youth Advisory Council (KAYAC).  We will have games and activities like a hula hoop competition and of course, swimming! Admission will be $2.00 at the gate and pizza, drinks, and candy will be available for purchase.  Join your classmates as we celebrate the end of school and the official start of summer! (School ID and swim suit will be required for entry)


June 20th – Family Night – 8:30pm-10:30pm


July 3rd – Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce BASH – 6:00p-8:00p. This is for invited guests of the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce.


July 25th – Dive-Inn movie at the Pool. On this night, the pool will close at 7pm and all patrons must leave the pool. Pool staff will clean the restrooms, straighten up the pool deck and take their required break. The pool gates will reopen at 8pm and only admit those 230 people with admission tickets. All regular pool rules apply to all attending, and maximum pool complex capacity is 230. Gates open at 8pm and pool closes 30 minutes after conclusion of the movie.


August 1st- Back To School Night – 8:30pm-10:30pm – Join us at the Kyle Pool for our  ‘Back to School Swim and Supply Drive’ this summer.  Your donation gets you in to the pool for a fun family night. Hope and Love 4 Kids will be on hand to collect school supply donations that will be distributed to local students in need.  The most needed items are: Composition Books, Dividers, Pink Erasers, Glue Sticks, Pocket Folders with Brads and Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper. It’s cold in January.  That means coats, gloves, hats, and bathing suits.

Yes, you heard right, bathing suits.

It’s time for the annual Polar Bear Splash!  Join us at the Kyle Pool on January 1, 2014 to swim or watch the others swim while you are dressed in your Christmas sweater.

Admission and watching participants freeze is free.

Movie starts 30 minutes after Sunset in Gregg-Clark Park, by Wallace Middle School.  Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks!


Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18th – Cabela’s Fall Great Outdoors Event

Free archery shoot, bb gun range, education seminars and more all weekend long! 10am-4pm

2013 Polar Bear Splash

Get wet, get cold, have fun. If any of these are on your to do list for 2013, here is a quick way to knock them off your list all at once.

The Annual Polar Bear Splash is scheduled for January 1, 2013 at the Kyle Pool. Gates open at 1pm and everyone jumps in at 1:30pm.  The event is free to the public to view and participate. Door prizes and light snacks should keep you warm until 2:30pm, when the pool closes until Memorial Day Weekend.

There is an optional Polar Bear Club fee of $25. Members receive a Polar Bear Long Sleeve T-Shirt, a door prize ticket, half price coupon for a Kyle Pool 2013 Season Pass, and your name on the Polar Bear Club Plaque for a year.
