Why did the chicken cross the road? Because she didn’t want to be thrown into the Kyle Pool with the brave souls with an urge to swim in cold-d-d-d weather. Once again, the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Annual Polar Bear Splash, January 1, 2011 at 1pm. The band’s latest release, High in the Rockies: A Live Album, on the Thirty Tigers label, has reached #27 on the US Country Charts, their highest selling album to date. The album was recorded in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Ft. Collins, Colorado, Laramie, [...] Matt Deaton started his career in Brownwood, TX, playing guitar, and along with his friend Chuck Johnson, started “Front Porch Texas”. Matt and his band played Brownwood, Comanche, San Angelo, and Abilene. Forming a following and touring with bands like Aaron Watson provided valuable experience. |
