There are multiple holiday traditions in Kyle. Santa comes through town in a firetruck, and every year the mayor and Santa light the downtown Christmas tree. Choirs from the Hays CISD elementary, middle and high schools perform. It’s a wonderful, joyous celebration for the whole town.
Santa loves visiting Kyle Texas before Christmas, but he can’t come via sleigh because Rudolf and the Reindeer need to rest for the Christmas Eve ride. Fortunately, the Kyle Fire Department has once again offered a ride to Santa so he can visit our neighborhoods.
Santa will begin his visits at approximately 6pm Emergency calls take precedence, and dates and times are subject to change without notice, but Santa will try his best to make it your neighborhood.
