The Dia de los Muertos Mariachi Extravaganza celebration at Gregg-Clarke Park (next to the Kyle Pool) features fourteen musical and dance groups, including all Hays CISD Mariachi students. Between the hours of 10am until 2pm, on November 5, 2011, the students enrolled in the Hays CISD Mariachi program, ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade, are performing Mariachi, a music that has been passed down for generations. [...] Yep, folks come out to Kyle for tasty food at the Texas Pie Company. The Texas Pie Company offers homemade pies, casseroles and other baked goods. I suggest the Famous Pot Pie or the King Ranch Chicken. The Turkey and Swiss Sandwich if really good too.
